Rain!

"Next time I get pregnant, I hope it's during the summer! I can wear cute little sundresses." My husband should've ignored me... yet, here I am pregnant during the summer. No one explained to me that sundresses were not made for short fat woman. Just the tall skinny ones. They should've also shared that the heat is unbearable that you can't go out in heat above 75 degrees and not sweat your ass off.
But it's rainging out right now... or it will be. It's so dark outside and I can hear the thunder. Good thing too, the grass was turning brown! Yuck.
Off to ebay and diaperswappers.com to see if I can find some cloth diapers on the cheap...

New Baby is coming!

So, our newest edition, New Baby (he is yet to have a name! I know... we are awesome!) is going to be arriving on our door step in 3 short months. I swear, my last pregnancy seemed to last forever, this one... not so much. Must be when you're not prepared for something, it comes quicker than expect. My daughter, we had a name picked out pre-conception, crib up, bag packed for the hospital, stroller set up... all months before she was here. This baby... hell, we don't even have a name for him. We aren't even sure it's a him!! Not that we aren't in love with him all ready, because we are, it's just everyday life seems to be taking over. An apartment to clean (which hardly ever happens), a toddler to chase around and work! Who could forget work.
There are also so many decisions to make. With E, I became what I think is defined as 'semi-crunchy'. Well.. maybe 1/4 Crunchy if there was such a term. I tried breast feeding, but the nurses at the hospital were idiots (New Baby is being born in another hospital... that much we know!!!) and she hated it after we were told she was starving and gave her a bottle. I wanted to cloth diaper, but so glad I didn't because with the baby blues and getting used to an infant, I think I would've been overwhelmed. We used BPA free bottles, microwaved all food in glass containers, either made our own baby food or used the organic baby food (Earths Best). We did however, get her vaccinated, did not co-sleep, and formula fed her! :)
With New Baby... (let's call him NB for short, shall we) I plan on breast feeding and cloth diapering. Might start cloth diapering E too, but I don't know how she'll take the change. Probably with everything else she has taken so far, laid back. She's awesome... like her mom and dad! Although she doesn't seem to be too into napping today. Must go and get her out of the crib, I don't think the second nap is happening.
Toodles! (I should be smacked for writing that!)
